I followed after an illusion and found myself in a deluded place. I devoted myself as a bride to a groom that did not exist. I followed a land that had not been sown. Appalled and utterly daze there was no glory to be found. Foolishly like water I poured myself into a broken cistern, which did not have the ability to hold me, releasing my passion out of season, disturb the atmosphere, for there were none to Restraint. “Oh my dearest heed to Wisdom, hearken to my voice, Seeking love recklessly will only lead you to a place where there’s no heartbeat.

Love shared with the wrong people (or things) can certainly bring us to our knees.

It is told that we do not look for Love, Love already knows our existence and when it feels that we are worthy, it will introduce itself. Love this piece…
